🔐 Before Staking
First steps before staking to Birdeye Plus
Before staking your tokens with Birdeye Plus, you'll need to follow a few steps to set up your wallet and acquire SOL tokens.
Set Up a Wallet
To stake your tokens, you’ll need a compatible wallet that supports the Solana network, such as Phantom, Backpack, Solflare,...
Once you’ve chosen a wallet, download and set it up. Make sure to securely save your recovery phrase - this is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose access.
Acquire SOL Tokens
To stake with Birdeye Plus Validator, you'll need some SOL tokens to delegate. You can acquire SOL tokens in many ways. Some popular options include:
- Transferring SOL to your wallet address from another wallet address.
- Purchasing and transferring SOL tokens from exchanges that support the Solana network (like Binance, Coinbase, Kraken,...) to your wallet address.
- Purchasing SOL tokens using Solana On & Off Ramp Network.
Ensure You Have Enough SOL for Staking
Birdeye Plus does not require a minimum amount of SOL for staking. In addition to the amount of SOL for staking, you should prepare a small amount for transaction fees.
